NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice is hereby given that the Wyandotte Nation will take sealed bids for the Lost Creek Recycling Center expansion.
The project scope of work generally consists of a 1,750 SF pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) expansion to an existing PEMB. The project includes a limited site work, metal canopy and various mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Selection will be based on a firm's bid, ability to work with the Tribe, and experience of similar projects. The following scoring shall apply:
Professional Qualifications and Experience - 15 points
Past Performance - 10 points
Experience in Construction Period Services - 10 points
Small Business Opportunities - 5 points
Location - 4 points
Eligibility - 5 points
Indian Organization or Indian-Owned Enterprise - 1 point
Indian Preference and Indian Preference Program Contract Provisions will be observed when considering all bids. Any application seeking to qualify for the above preference in the award of this contract must submit to the Wyandotte Nation proof of Indian Ownership.
Such proof may include, but is not limited to:
Certification by a federally recognized Indian tribe or other evidence that the applicant is a tribal member and therefore eligible to receive preference. The Wyandotte Nation shall accept the certification of a tribe (such as TERO) and that the individual is a member.
Evidence such as majority stock ownership, structure, management control financing and salary or profit-sharing arrangements of the enterprise.
Pre-Bid Conference: An onsite Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00 am, September 16, 2025 at the Lost Creek Recycling Center, 4 Lost Creek Drive, Wyandotte, OK.
Attendance is not mandatory.
Bid Opening: Sealed proposals for the construction including the furnishing of all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for the LOST CREEK RECYCLING CENTER EXPANSION for WYANDOTTE NATION, WYANDOTTE, OKLAHOMA, shall be received at the Wyandotte Nation Planning and Natural Resource Director, 8 Turtle Drive, Wyandotte, OK, 74370 at 4 p.m. (C.S.T.) on September 25, 2025. Any proposal received subsequent to the time specified will be promptly returned to the bidder unopened. The sealed bid should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope - "BID - LOST CREEK RECYCLING CENTER EXPANSION for WYANDOTTE NATION, WYANDOTTE, OKLAHOMA.â The bids shall be opened and read aloud to all those in attendance at that time.
The Wyandotte Nation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
