NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Joplin Economic Housing Development Initiative will accept sealed bid proposals until 2:00 P.M.,Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, at the Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity office located at 5201 N. Main Street, Joplin, MO, 64801 to COMPLETE the following:
Total house building material and construction package to construct two single family houses located at 1119 S. Empire Ave. in Joplin, MO. This bid would include total cost and construction pertaining to the building of the housing units.
Specifications and bid forms are available from Scott Clayton at the Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity office, by calling 417-782-6533 or by writing to the address indicated above. Any bids received after the specified deadline will be returned to the vendor.
Joplin Economic Housing Development Initiative reserves the right to select the lowest and best bidder based on full consideration of all factors, preferences, and conditions deemed applicable by Joplin Economic Housing Development Initiative. Joplin Economic Housing Development Initiative reserves the right to accept all or any portion of the goods and/or services being requested from any one vendor.
Joplin Economic Housing Development Initiative may waive any irregularities in the bid or negotiate variances from specifications, and make awards that are in the best interests of the organization. Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity volunteers and Habitat partner families will also be taking part in the housesÂ' construction.
Joplin Economic Housing Development Initiative encourages minority and female owned businesses to submit bids on all purchases.
